Founded by Norman Partridge who was a well-respected local businessman and passionate rugby supporter, the business has grown into one of the leading insurance brokers in the area. As it enters its 50th year of trading, it is now led by Adrian Gyde as Managing Director supported by his co-directors of Pauline and Geoff Lanceley both of whom have been with the business for many years, Pauline originally working with Norman Partridge, the founder.
Whilst using modern technology, the business retains the values of tradition and community broking where its clients are more than just numbers. They are friends and we seek to help and support them in all aspects of their business, not just the insurance aspects. Service levels are all important and we are not simply a price-led organisation. Many of our more recent clients have come to us for the service we provide, having found that the approach of some of our competitors is simply to see them as a source of income. Whilst we can’t always get things right, there are few brokers who are as good as us!
